1948 – Automotive Manufacturers Pvt. Ltd. starts as the importers, assemblers and exclusive dealers of Leyland Motors, UK. (in the erstwhile states of Bombay (including Gujarat) and Hyderabad)

AMPL takes up the dealership of Mahindra & Mahindra Limited

In 1986 dealership for Maruti Suzuki Ltd., was taken for Maharashtra at Nagpur and subsequently Navi Mumbai, Aurangabad, Nashik and Latur.

Added Kobelco, a giant in the construction equipment sector as a partner in the states of (now) Telangana and Andhra Pradesh.
